Awards and Honors

​

Har-Ber High School first opened its doors to the students of western Springdale, Arkansas in the fall of 2005.  Since that time, the program

has produced the following:

​

• 13 consecutive ASBOA State Sweepstakes Awards - for Superior ratings in Marching Band, Concert Band, and Sight-Reading Assessments-one for every year of the program's existence.

​

• 218 All-State Band members and over 1000 All-Region Band members.

​

• The Har-Ber Wind Ensemble was a featured performer at the 2011 Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois.

​

• The Har-Ber Marching Band has never received less than a Superior rating at any marching contest or assessment, winning many invitational competitions.

​

• The Har-Ber Wind Ensemble won the designation of the "Honor Ensemble" for the state of Arkansas in 2017 for its excellence in concert band performance.

​

• Har-Ber Band graduates are sought after by universities throughout the country both for their musicianship and high academic achievement, and have received countless dollars in scholarship money.
